Sequel to the disappearance of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB) who is currently on administrative bail, an Igbo elder and flag carrying member of All Progressives Grand Alliance in Anambra State, Chief Augustus Nweke, said Kanu is childish and selfish. According to Chief Nweke, the disappearance of the IPOB leader and his failure to attend court trial, while on bail, is synonymous to jumping bail.
He lamented that Kanu’s activities have attracted more hatred to Ndigbo than ever, saying that the IPOB leader came to enrich himself with the problem of Biafra. “Kanu’s activities in South East and other parts of the country has attracted more hatred to Ndigbo, even among the igbos due to his leadership style,” he said.
Speaking on the event that led to his disappearance, he said, “Once I’m not justifying the action of the military which allegedly led to his disappearance, I also stated that Kanu is not with the military.
