Thugs on Saturday morning destroyed all electoral materials, including the Bimodal Voters Accreditation System (BVAS) in Evwerni, Delta State
According to report, the thugs are suspected to be working for a former Delta lawmaker and a serving Commissioner.
Voting has been disrupted in all the polling units in Evwerni, Ughelli North Local Government Area.
The rampaging thugs also prevented journalists monitoring the elections from entering the community.
Ten Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) has been stolen in Delta State as electorates vote for their preferred governorship and house of assembly candidates.
After, counting, he noted that units should have 23 BVAS, however, 14 BVAS are being found at the INEC Centre.
